PTL Music Festival
Choir Performs at Scandia

On Tuesday, November 17th, thirty-four Southern Cloud High School Choir members traveled to Scandia to perform in the Pike Trail League Music Festival. Students from Lakeside, Pike Valley, Rock Hills and St. Johns joined the Southern Cloud Choir to form the Pike Trail League Choir. The students who normally compete against each other in the sports arena rehearsed together all afternoon under the direction of Mr. Bill Tuzicka, a professor from Kansas Wesleyan University.
That evening, the choir of over 100 voices performed a concert for the public. Together they sang seven songs, with individual numbers from each school interspersed throughout the program.
Students attending the Music Festival include: Ben Bradley, Cody Denio, Kylee Cyr, Emily Fuller, Alisha Castro, Justin Beals, Shelby Schultz, Lea Kuhlmann, Feodora Gebhardt, Angela Fowler, Nicole DeMars, Justus Golightly, Zach Swenson, Adrian Revel, Nathan Fowler, Tommy Pudge, Cy Schmidt, Frank Waite, Tyler Pinnell, Grady Brayton, Joey Justus, Kyle DeMars, Derryck Walker, Clara Spear, Percilla Gilmore, Jordanne Hollie, Josie Cox, Darien Bellows, Laura Darnall, Carrie Brayton, Britney Chrisco, Faith Peters, Erin Crawford, Abbi Cox, and Autumn Griffin.
The winter program for Miltonvale Grade School is November 23rd, the 7-12 program for both band and choir is December 1st at 7:30 p.m. at Glasco and the Glasco Grade School program will be December 7th at 7:00 p.m. We hope to see you there.
