PTL Band and Regional Participants

This is a big month for the high school Warrior band members. March 8 they attended the Pike Trail League Band. This is a large group of all the band members in our league. The students practice with a clinician all afternoon and perform the concert in the evening. There are some very tired embouchures at the end of the day. Southern Cloud students from Glasco were: Carrie Brayton, Kylie Cool, Madison Davis, Darien Bellows, Joey Justus, Kyle DeMars, Chase Gumm, Dalton Palmer and Ethan Prochaska.
On Saturday March 27, Madison and Darien are attending the Regional Solo/Small Ensemble Music Contest at CCCC. Students play a prepared solo for a judge. The ratings of I –V indicate the students ability according to the judge. Students earning a ‘I’ rating are eligible for the State Music Festival in April. Good luck to Madison and Darien.
