Students Attend Career Day
at NCKTC in Beloit

Several members
of the Junior and Senior Class of Glasco took a trip to Beloit on
Friday to attend the North Central Kansas Technical College Career
Day. The students were Kobey Cyr, Ethan Higle, Ethan
Prochaska, Erica Crawford, Tucker Liby, Creig Bailey, Dustin
Bailey, Kyle DeMars, and Erin Crawford.
The students
looked into a wide range of careers including computers, nursing,
mechanics, auto body repair, brick laying, and welding. "This
is an important time in our students lives as
they continue the process of determining what field thay would
like to enter when their high school days are over." Stated
Southern Cloud Counselor Rick Hatfield.
The students
enjoyed a lunch, hosted by NCK Tech. They had big hamburgers
and potato chips. They also had an Oreo Bar and pop to
drink. The students also had time to go to the game room for
a little pool and foosball. The students returned to Glasco
about 3:00 PM.
