Patterson Medals At State Bee

Jessie Patterson, daughter of Jon and Rhonda Patterson, received a medal at the State Spelling Bee in Topeka on Saturday March 13.
Forty-seven students competed in the Bee. After round four, ten spellers remained. Four, including Jessie, failed to correctly spell their word in the next round, so they tied for 6th place.
Jessie, an 8th grade student at Miltonvale, and Dalton Synder of Concordia represented Cloud County in the 57th Topeka Capital-Journal Spelling Bee.
