State Contest-April 30 in Wichita

The Regional Solo/Small Ensemble contest was held April 2 at CCCC. Southern Cloud was well represented. Glasco HS sent a vocal small group composed of Bryanna Cool, Kylie Cool, Erin Crawford, Kathleen McAlister, Lance Heller and Kyle DeMars. They received a 2 rating—excellent performance, with minor problems. Madison Davis, flute solo, Kathleen McAlister, flute solo, and Darien Bellows, cornet solo, each received a 2 rating.

Miltonvale HS was represented by Chandra Beals, flute solo who received a 3 rating. Shannon Wallace, baritone solo, and Alisha Castro, flute solo, both received 2 ratings. Well done students.

Emily Fuller is on her way to State, again. She performed a vocal solo with a 1 rating and a flute solo with a 1 rating. State contest is April 30 at Wichita. She will take both solos to this contest.
