Cool, Morris named to All-NPL lists
Seniors Logan Cool and Kaitlyn Morris found their names on the 2018-2019 Northern Plains League lists. Cool was listed on the second team, her first time being named to the All-NPL list in her career. Morris was listed as a third-teamer for the second consecutive season. It was the third time Morris’s name appeared on the list, being named Honorable Mention as a sophomore. The all-league list is voted on by the coaches of the league schools. Coaches nominate players from their own squad, but are not allowed to vote for them.
Cool averaged 7.8 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 2.4 steals per game this season. Cool was forced to play from three different positions and her versatility made her extremely valuable to her team. Morris averaged 12.8 points a game and was leading scorer for the Lady Warriors the past two seasons. She also averaged 3.2 rebounds and 1.9 steals per outing. Her speed was big in getting her openings to the basket to attack on the break.
