Grady Brayton shot a 8 over 78 to win the 2011 PTL individual championship at Downs Golf Course on Tuesday afternoon. Joey Zadina of Rock Hills also shot a 78 but lost in a score card playoff. Braydon Prochaska shot his personal best, a 91, to finish 10th in the PTL. Cy Schimdt shot a 97, Steven Mahin shot a 103, Cody Denio shot a 105, and Kyle DeMars shot a 111 to round out the Southern Cloud players.
"I was really happy that Grady won the PTL part of the tournament. To be a league champion is something that is very special. I thought Braydon had a really good day as well. His scores have been getting better and better as the year has gone on. Hopefully he can continue to improve. Steven had two really bad holes, but if he takes care of that, his score would have been much lower. I think he has the ability to get into the 90's or even the high 80's if he cleans up a couple of things." Quoted Warrior Coach Rick Hatfield.
In the team PTL contest, Rock Hills won with a 319, Lakeside had a 359, Southern Cloud had a 369, and Pike Valley had a 397.
