St. John's Invitational

     The Southern Cloud Track and Field Boys and Girls Team competed in the first track meet of the season at the Beloit-St. John’s High School Invitational. Girls team members that competed-Seniors: Catherine Wallace, Janae Perkins; Juniors: Bryanna Cool, Feodorah Gebhardt, Erin Crawford; Sophomores: Shelby Shultz, Lea Kuhlmann, Kylee Cyr; Freshmen: Alisha Castro, Nicole Demars, Shannon Wallace, Darien Bellows. Boys Team Members that competed-Seniors: Kodie Stone, Matteus Undiciatti; Juniors: Chase Gumm, David Leonard, Zach Demars, Tucker Liby; Sophomores: Eric Crawford, Derryck Walker.
    The Boys team finished 5th overall with 45 points. The boys were led by Zach Demars and Chase Gumm. Zach won the Long Jump and took 2nd in the Triple Jump. Chase won the Javelin.
    The Girls team finished 3rd overall with 88 points. They were in a tight team race with Bennington who took 2nd with 96 points and Rock Hills who won the meet with 109 points. The Girls team were paced by Bryanna Cool who won the Triple Jump, took 3rd in the 200m Dash and was a part of the 4x100m relay team that took 3rd; Nicole Demars won the High Jump and took second in the 300m Hurdles, and was a part of the 4x400m relay team that took 2nd. Catherine Wallace, Janae Perkins, Alisha Castro and Erin Crawford all had stellar days as well. The Girls and Boys team competed very hard and started the track season off right. The next action for the Warrior Track and Field is April 6th at Downs.
