The kindergarten class has been very busy these first weeks of school. We have been learning the rules of the classroom, how to listen and follow directions, along with how to be a good friend to others. We have also been busy learning our letters, numbers, and colors. We have also had time to visit the Mitchell County Hospital where we participated in their doll clinic. The class got to experience an ambulance ride, visit the emergency room, and learn about the correct way to wash their hands. The class also got to visit the nursery to see two newborn babies. This was a fantastic learning experience for everyone.

During the month of October, we will be busy learning about scarecrows, pumpkins, and fire safety. We will also be taking a field trip to Courtland to visit the Depot Market.
