Good-Bye From Mrs. Drake

This day comes as a bittersweet ending to the year. Your children have become such an important part of my life that I am filled with sadness that they are moving on. However, it is also a very joyous occasion because I think of all of the amazing things we accomplished as a team this year, and how much more they will accomplish as second graders.
You, as parents and families, have been excellent to work with. Words cannot explain how much I appreciate your constant support throughout this year. Getting to know you has been a pleasure, and I wish you and your children the best in the years to come! Have a wonderful summer, and I will look forward to seeing you around the building next school year!

Field Day

The field day for Miltonvale Elementary School students was held Monday, May 14, 2012. The students participated in playground poison ball, chaotic soccer, red rover, “What time is it, Mr. Fox?”, kick ball, and scooter relays. I think the students had a great time! Thank you for your support of this project!

Great Expectations

It’s time to say good-bye

Our year has come to an end.

I’ve made more cherished memories

And many more new friends.

I’ve watched your child learn and grow And change from day to day

I hope that all the things we’ve done Have helped in some small way

So it’s with happy memories

I send them out the door,

With great hope and expectations

For what next year holds in store.

End of the Year Duties

Please remember to check in with Mrs. Perkins to see if you have any outstanding bills for the school year. We will be here all day tomorrow (Friday) for a work day, so please call if you have any questions or concerns. Final grade cards will be sent out in the coming weeks. Thank you for a great year!
