Physical Education in Our Schools

PE Class Activities

     The Junior High students at Miltonvale are a lively bunch to be around.  In the gym, the focus is on fitness to start our class periods.  We start with a 3-5 minute jog to get the heart rate up.  The students then find a spot on the front row bleacher and together we begin our exercises, which consist of three sets of decline push-ups, bench dips, bench crunches, and abdominal isometrics.  When we have concluded our pre-workout, we engage in activity.  We have already had a basketball unit, and have since moved on to kicking activities that also involve plenty of fitness.  Soon, we will be able to do outside activities.
