Lady Warriors Travel to Pike Valley

The Lady Warriors traveled north to take on the Panthers from Pike Valley.  The game started at a fast pace with the Lady Warriors leading 16-12 after the first quarter. The second quarter slowed down; with the Lady Warriors outscoring the Panthers 9-6. Making the score 25-18 at half time.  The second half started the same way as the second quarter, with the Lady Warriors continuing to add to the lead over the Lady Panthers outscoring them 8-5, with the Lady Warriors leading 33-23. The final quarter was an even quarter with both the Lady Warriors and the Lady Panthers scoring 9 points each.  This win gave the Lady Warriors their 4th win of the early season 42-32. 

 

Leading the way for the Lady Warriors was Athina Liby with 11 points going 5 for 5 at the free throw line. Right behind Athina was Shea McMillan with 10 points; she, also, was perfect from the line 2 for 2. With 8 points and 10 rebounds was Rael Beals. Braya Darnall had 7 points followed by Makenna Comstock and Hana Cool with 4 and 2 points.  The Lady Warriors were 9 of 14 from the free throw line, best of the season. The Lady Warriors shot 16 of 41 from the field for a good 39%.  

 

The JV Lady Warriors lost 10-13 to the Pike Valley Panthers.
