On Friday night, January 8th, the Southern Cloud Warriors traveled to Wilson to take on the Wilson Lady Dragons. After only four days of practice since the winter break layoff, the Lady Warriors were a little sluggish. The Lady Warriors came out and took an early lead in the first quarter. The Lady Warriors defense was outstanding, holding the Lady Dragons to a goose egg the first quarter while putting up 6 points. The Lady Warriors continued their way in the second quarter, scoring 7 more points to give the Lady Warriors a 13-2 half time lead.  The third quarter saw the Lady Warriors out score the Lady Dragons 9-4 to give the Lady Warriors a 16 point lead 22-6. The fourth quarter saw the Lady Warriors coasting, while the Lady Dragons outscored the Lady Warriors by 4, 8-4, giving the Lady Warriors a win 26-14.  With the win, the Lady Warriors are 3-2 for the season.

Shealynn McMillan led the way for the Lady Warriors with 15 points 5 rebounds, and 3 steals. Athina Liby added another 9 points and 2 steals.  Rael Beals added 2 more points. Braya had 6 steals and 2 assists. The Lady Warriors went 4 for 6 at the free throw line.
