News from the Business and Computer Classes
We have been very busy and learning a lot in the business and computer classes. In Consumer and Personal Finance we have discussed consumer activities such as savings accounts, checking accounts, credit cards and investments. In investment class we have learned about savings, stocks, bonds and how to increase our wealth for the future. In Business Economics we have been talking about keeping track of our money and how we spend it. In Banking and Finance we have discussed the different types of financial institutions, banking services and the laws and rules that keep us safe and keep the banks working efficiently. In Advanced Accounting we are practicing entering transactions and completing the accounting cycle. In 7th and 8th Grade keyboarding we are practicing proper keyboarding techniques for the most efficient typing and continue to practice speed and accuracy. We have started learning about all the different features using Microsoft Word. The Glasco yearbook class have been working hard taking pictures and getting the pages all set up. We are so excited to showcase all the activities happening in our schools.
