Turkey in Disguise
By: Mrs. Pounds
During this last week of school before Thanksgiving break, the 3rd-6th grade students had a friendly turkey in disguise competition. We had 14 participants. They always have a blast with this and got very creative in their disguises. The teachers were the first to vote to narrow it down to the Top 3 finalists; we ended with a tie so there were actually four. Next up the K-6 students each had a chance to vote on the four finalists to pick our 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners. We again had a tie for 2nd place.
Our winners are as follows:
1st place – Adley Bates (Gumball machine)
2nd place (tie)—Jaxin Howard (Santa Claus) and Jasmine Patterson (Minion)
3rd place— Mycenae Williams (Tuna in a Can)
Other turkeys in the competition were:
Jacob Clairmont- Dog Ate My Homework
Mason Williams- Albert Einstein
Cyrus Williams- Minecraft Steve
Esther Paillet- Mountain Dew
Elizabeth Paillet- Cat in the Hat
Nevaeh Myer- Abraham Lincoln
Ella Sparks- Princess
