On October 11, 2011 the Lady Warriors traveled to St. Johns in Beloit to face the Osborne Lady Bulldogs and the St. Johns/ Tipton Lady Blujays. The first match of the night was against St. Johns/Tipton. The outcome didn’t go as the Warriors would have liked, the first set 13-25 and the second set 13-25. Leading in aces for the Lady Warriors was Kylie Cool with 1 ace, 4 kills, and 7 digs; Carrie Brayton with 1 ace, 2 kills, 4 assists, 1 dig, 2 blocks; Shelby Shultz with 1 ace, and 4 digs. The second match of the night against Osborne did not end in Warriors favor either, the first set was 4-25 and the second set going 8-25. Leading in aces for the Warriors was Kylie Cool with 2 aces, 1 kill, 4 digs; Carrie Brayton with 1 ace, 4 kills, 4 assists, and 2 blocks; Emily Fuller with 1 ace, 1 kill, 3 digs, and 1 block.

Sub-State Tournament Results
The Lady Warriors went to Sylvan Grove for Sub State October 22, 2011. The tournament was single elimination; our first game was against the Lakeside Knights. From the looks of the first set the Lady Warriors looked done for 17-25; however, the Lady Warriors came back in the second set winning 25-21 and took the Knights to three sets, where they won 25-17 and sent the Knights packing. Leading in aces for the Lady Warriors were Carrie Brayton with 2 aces, 2 kills, 2 blocks, 13 assists, 2 digs and Morgan Cool with 2 aces, 2 kills, 7 assists, and 1 dig; Kylie Cool with 1 ace, 9 kills, 1 block, and 6 digs; Shannon Wallace with 1 ace, 7 kills, 1 assist, and 6 digs; Shelby Schultz with 1 ace and 6 digs; and Alisha Castro with 8 kills. “I was very proud at the way my team pulled together and came back those next two sets, to make it to the second round of Sub State,” said Senior Captain Kylie Cool.
The second match for the Lady Warriors was against the Pike Valley Panthers. This match didn’t pan out how the Lady Warriors had hoped. The first set was17-25 and the second was 18-25. Leading in digs was Shelby Schultz with 5; Shannon Wallace with 5 digs and 1 kill; Morgan Cool with 2 digs and 5 assists; Carrie Brayton with 1 dig, 1 block, 1 kill, and 1 ace; Alisha Castro with 1 block and 1 kill; Emily Fuller with 1 kill; and Kylie Cool with 4 kills.
