WARRIORS FACE WILSON DRAGONS

After the two hour bus ride to Wilson, the Warriors got to play the Wilson Dragons on January 6, 2023. The Warriors came out and battled the Dragons to give up 10 points to the Warriors 9 points in the first period. The Warriors forgot to come out of the huddle in the second quarter, the Dragons scored 23 points to the Warriors 7, giving the home team a lead of 33-16 at half time. The Warriors came out after the half time and played the Dragons tougher in the third quarter only to be outscored by 7 at the conclusion of the 3rd quarter 51-27. In the final quarter, the Warriors outscored the Dragons 17-11, giving the home team a win with a final score of 62-44.

Leading the way with 11 points was Trenton Welch, followed by Levi Cool with 10 points. Finishing out the scoring was Kye Chase with 8 points, Dante Peterson with 5 points, Bryson Schmidt and Gus Rice had 4 points each and Logan Haley with 2 points. Trenton had 10 rebounds followed by Kye and Bryson with 6 rebounds each. Levi had a game high with 5 assists.
