JH Volleyball 9/7/23
By: Coach Jeff Benyshek
The Junior High Lady Warriors volleyball team was on the road again September 7 to play sets against Sylvan-Lucas and Lincoln. The Warriors took two losses on the road this past week, dropping their first match to Sylvan-Lucas. During the first game, the Warriors struggled to execute. Serve receive was not where it needed to be for the Warrior offense to be able to achieve some of the things practiced. During the rest of the season, the ladies will need to improve upon communication while on the court.
In the second game against Lincoln, the Lady Warriors competed pretty well. Once they were able to regroup and make adjustments, they took a 10-1 lead. The Lady Warriors did some nice things, then let off the gas. One of the biggest things is just building confidence. The Lady Warriors will continue to work on mindset and what they need to do to improve and win.
The next game will be at Beloit on September 14. The Lady Warriors will face St. Johns and Tescott.
