By: Coach Jeff Benyshek
The Junior High Lady Warriors volleyball team was on the road again September 14 to play sets against St. John’s/Tipton and Tescott. The Warriors took two losses on the road this past weekend, dropping their first match to St. John’s/Tipton. During the first game, the Warriors struggled early to execute which put some extra pressure to do well. When the Warriors played as a team the results were amazing by watching the ladies bump, set, to spike the ball. We will continue to focus on the positive things we do each game, so we are prepared for the future games. After the games the ladies were able to express the positive things they did well during the games. With a positive attitude these ladies can achieve their goals for this season.
In the second game against Tescott, the Lady Warriors competed pretty well. Once they were able to regroup and make adjustments, Warriors came from behind and tied up the game. The Lady Warriors did fall short, but with the confidence to move forward later will be important to never giving up. The Lady Warriors will continue to work hard and to improve and win.
The next game will be at Miltonvale on September 21. The Lady Warriors will face Pike Valley
