SC Football vs Cunningham 10/19/23

Your Southern Cloud Warriors made the long trip to Cunningham on Thursday of this last week for our last regular season football game. We ran into the best team we have seen all year and came up on the losing end of a 60-0 game. Cunningham is the defending state champs in 6man football. The boys played hard and continue to improve with each game. We are still very young and still learning what it takes to win. This group of boys is some of my favorite that I have coached in my coaching career. They are hard workers and try to do what we ask of them. We have our juniors and seniors that are helping lead the team. Kye Chase and Dashawn Peterson our 2 juniors are great leaders and are hard workers. They lead by example on and off the field. Our seniors are Dante Peterson, Julius James, and Mason Knudsen. It was a good to have Mason and Julius to come out for football for the first time in their high school career. They are improving every day and becoming a big part of the team. Dante was a nice addition to the team with his experience and speed he has helped out on both sides of the ball this year. We will start playoffs Thursday in Lost Spring facing the Centre Cougars. I hope you all can make the trip to root on your Warriors for this first round playoff game.
