SC Football vs Centre 10/26/23

The Warriors’ football season came to an end on Thursday night. We went to Lost Spring and played the Centre Cougars for the first round of the state playoffs. The Warriors came up on the short end of a 58-13 score. The boys played a pretty good game. They have improved so much from the beginning of the season to the end of the season. I am excited to see what next year holds for this team. We do have to say goodbye to our seniors. The three seniors are Dante Peterson, Julius James, and Mason Knudsen. They helped lay the foundation for good things to come. They will be missed next year. We want to thank all the fans that came out and supported the boys this year. Coach Long and I want to thank all the parents for sharing their boys with us this year. We got the privilege to coach a great group of young men. All of the families of these young men should be very proud of the men they are raising. Most of the boys are getting ready for basketball season and I want to wish them the best of luck in their upcoming season. I hope to see all of our fans at the basketball games this year. Thank you to all the fans for making Coach Long and I feel welcomed here at Southern Cloud. It’s great to be Warriors!
